VPR 700 paver roller - appropriate installation of large slabs and pavers

Industry's foremost manufacturers of large-size slabs and pavers for hardscape projects recommend the use of paver rollers - such as Weber MT's VPR 700.

Walkways, public landscape areas and squares are being designed more and more with large format slabs or precious paving stones.

For professional and gentle installations of these building materials Weber MT offers the perfect solution: the VPR 700 paver roller. This machine was specially designed for the delicate treatment these large paver surfaces demand.

The VPR 700 rolls gently over the material working the polymeric sand into the joints and ensures it fills the joints fully right down to the bedding layer. This prevents the slabs or paving stones from shifting, cracking or chipping. This machine is great for larger slabs and pavers now on the market that are non-tumbled with smooth surfaces, have clean lines or have chambered edges that can sometimes chip or crack easily if using a traditional tamper for final compaction over the pavers.

Sensitive concrete slabs with a relatively low thickness can be gently vibrated and pressed into their bedding and evened out without creating any DUST!

The VPR 700 is recommended for setting your pavers and large slab projects.

A must-have for any hardscape professional.

Perfect for travertine

Machine is heavy for sure. Need equipment to load and transport. However when used on travertine or 24" slab pavers, machine is perfect. The compactor rolls easily and covers a large area quickly. It doesn't compact as much as my normal plate tamp but rather smooths out any unevenness between pavers. Creating a uniform flat surface. We do have a few broken pieces during the process but that is to be expected with a natural stone product having weakness thoroughout. It was a risk to purchase this machine without a demo, but I can't imagine not having it on every stone job going forward. Thank you for the help in purchasing and shipping the product. Phillip

Love the machine.

I love the roller paver, with the only complaint is the weight of the machine. Takes a machine to load or move the compactor. The crew will not be able to move the compactor on their own and it is somewhat cumbersome to move while operating but the compaction is amazing. No cracks even on thin pavers or stone. Rolls easy and no scuffs on pavers. Not easy to move but amazing machine. Glad I bought it.

WeberMT VPR700

So far our crews like this compactor for seating pavers and slabs way more then the conventional compaction plate with paver saver mat. They have more control over machine and the speed it travels. Really keeps paver heights consistent to one another.
