I love the slim 60 so much that I bought a set of Then I went to a local landscape store and bought what I thought was a slim 80. I was so dissatisfied with it. Every time we use it the black mallet comes out. No matter how tight you have it. I wrote a bad review on pave tools review page. They contacted me Immediately to see if they could replace it. I then sent pictures and they explained that this wasn’t there hammer. So I bought a new one from them and it does stay together!!!! So happy with this one thanks pave tool! I have made do with cheap rubber mallets for years — I love this mallet. Just enough weight for efficient persuasion without too much effort involved unlike the cheap rubber mallets which took some serious pounding to do the job far too often. The inserts are locked solidly in place, I haven’t had any issues. The only thing I might change is to do a rubber dip or cloth tape wrap for better grip on the handle.

I love the 60 mm I bought 2 of them I love them. I also bought a 80 mm and it will not stay together every time you use it the black rubber end works out. It is a really bad investment. Kiley

I purchased this to be used while laying wall base and 10 steps at my home. LOVE the fact that the ears help the Sim sit straight up instead of laying down on the ground flat. Also will clearly help from scuffing the step below if the depth needs to be adjusted. Great overall tool to have in your box.
